BRIDGE CLUB
Would you like to learn to play Bridge? Would you like to join other experienced players in a Bridge Club?
Due to growing interest in adult activities at our new Chicago Park District Community Center, a Bridge Club is being formed with two options available based on your skill and interest level. Join either or both of these sessions and make new friends while playing the world's second most popular card game.
Fall 2011 Session to Run September 19th, 2011 to December 4th, 2011
Registration - Online August 15th at www.chicagoparkdistrict.com and in person on August 20th. Open to ALL ages of men and women 18 & Over
BEGINNING BRIDGE: New Session from 09/19/2011 to 12/4/2011- Fridays 9:00 am - 11:00 am - Session Fee $10
Become a confident Bridge player in 11 short weeks! Learn the fundamentals of Bridge in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. All aspects of the game will be covered from bidding to card play to scoring. Class instruction is from experienced Bridge players who live in the neighborhood. The class will generally run for one hour followed by playing hands of Bridge during the second hour with supervision available for any questions that might arise.
CONTRACT BRIDGE (Intermediate Skill): New Session from 09/19/2011 to 12/4/2011 - Fridays 1:00-3:00pm - Session Fee $10
Play social Bridge targeted for those at the intermediate level and above. Rotate partners with a chance to play with many new friends in the neighborhood.
Get your neighbors to join so we have multiple tables. A possible tournament format will be considered for the end of the Fall term.
